Ashish Kumar

Ashish is an industry professional, a thought & knowledge leader, a technology evangelist, an influencer and a voice of the travel industry .He has held leadership positions at CXO levels in large travel companies such as ITC, Reliance Retail as well as overseas. Currently, he is a seasoned management and business transformational consultant, frequently supporting other consulting firms such KPMG, Deloitte and CAPA, as a travel subject matter expert. He is also the Co-Chairman of FICCI Travel & Technology committee, which comprises of large OTAs and travel e-commerce new age enterprises as it’s members.

He has mentored and incubated travel technology start ups, as well as furthered the cause of Amadeus Next start up programme in India, as part of the South East Asia mandate. He is passionate towards spreading the cause and integrating emerging technologies in travel, specially AI, machine learnings and chat bots, which he does with Agnitio.

At Argon, Ashish plays an advisory and a subject matter role, not only in APAC, but across the world and brings his deep understanding and networking to Argon’s vision in travel & hospitality segment.

Ranjan Maitra

Maitra has more than three decades of experience in the Textiles domain – production and greenfield projects – and has expertise within this ecosystem with a special focus in Weaving where he has expertise in handling and overseeing operations using the world’s latest machineries that includes airjet, rapier, and other latest preparatory machines. His experience spans across different end products spectrum that includes, but not limited to, bottom-weight, shirting, and sheeting. He has held various senior positions in textile companies in India during his career span

At Argon, he will be responsible for business development in India and Bangladesh across the textile ecosystem, which will include, but not limited to, securing mandates for fund raising, M&A, valuation, feasibility studies, project appraisals, financial and business strategies

Prior to his association with Argon, Maitra has spearheaded greenfield projects in Vardhman Group and Trident Group as a project head where he was responsible for commissioning of the plant and production. As a project head, he was involved right from the initial stage of project planning, technology selection, machinery finalization, erection, commissioning, and testing the production streams before going live. Maitra holds a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E.) in Textile Engineering from University of Calcutta, India
