Maitra has more than three decades of experience in the Textiles domain – production and greenfield projects – and has expertise within this ecosystem with a special focus in Weaving where he has expertise in handling and overseeing operations using the world’s latest machineries that includes airjet, rapier, and other latest preparatory machines. His experience spans across different end products spectrum that includes, but not limited to, bottom-weight, shirting, and sheeting. He has held various senior positions in textile companies in India during his career span
At Argon, he will be responsible for business development in India and Bangladesh across the textile ecosystem, which will include, but not limited to, securing mandates for fund raising, M&A, valuation, feasibility studies, project appraisals, financial and business strategies
Prior to his association with Argon, Maitra has spearheaded greenfield projects in Vardhman Group and Trident Group as a project head where he was responsible for commissioning of the plant and production. As a project head, he was involved right from the initial stage of project planning, technology selection, machinery finalization, erection, commissioning, and testing the production streams before going live. Maitra holds a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E.) in Textile Engineering from University of Calcutta, India
Sankalp has a rich experience of over 10 years working as a strategic advisor to quite a few companies across various sectors in India viz. IT/ITes, healthcare, hospitality, and human resources. He specializes in corporate and business development strategy, setting up operations and has played an active role in helping quite a few companies to grow operations or to raise finances for their businesses. Sankalp is currently the Executive Director at the Kairali Ayurvedic Group handling the Groups Operations and Business Development initiatives. In addition to this Sankalp is also heading product division where he oversees production and marketing and sales
At Argon he is responsible for business development, evaluating opportunities in new geographies, and developing and strengthening client relationships. He will also bring his expertise to clients where needed. In addition, he also has access to HNIs for early to growth stage funding
Previously Sankalp has worked as a Contributing Partner with a boutique investment bank Nucleus Partners, that specializes in Fund Raising, M&A and JV’s and with Quantum Leap Performance Solutions, as Business Development Head, North India. He is a graduate of Purdue University in the US where he completed his Bachelors in Computer Technology and also did a Certification in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Fazlur has over 8 years of experience in Metal & Mining, Infrastructure, and Education sectors. His career accomplishments demonstrate expertise in Sales, Business Development, Stakeholder Management, Financial Management, and Strategic planning to facilitate improved financial performance and organizational success. Additionally, his interpersonal skills, convincing and motivational skills, proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate at all levels allow him to excel in driving successful operational execution. He is an astute problem solver and a brilliant negotiator with the ability to think on his feet while being meticulous and detailed in everything he undertakes.
At Argon, he is accountable for devising and implementing effective business development strategies and accelerate the revenue growth, achieve defined goals and expand market share. He is also responsible for networking with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and building a long-term mutually beneficial relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
Before joining Argon, he has worked with Vedanta Group, P M Construction, and GAFI and is known to be an action-oriented leader. His experience in securing new clients, analyzing market & competitive trends, negotiating & closing profitable deals, and nurturing beneficial relationships positions him to substantially impact the organization. He holds a Bachelor Degree (B.Tech) in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology and an MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
