Avijit Banerjee, CEO & Managing Director of Argon Capital Advisors, was speaking at the 105th Leadership Levers Lecture organized by the TimesPro ET Classes, an Economic Times and Times Group initiative, in Mumbai on 30th March 2024, wherein he talked about, in great detail, the economic path for a capitalistic society and a socialism based society, the economic impact due to the extremes of hyper capitalism and hyper socialism, and how socio-capitalism brings in an optimum balance between the two through the levers of Capitalism with Responsibility. He delivered this lecture to the mid and senior management executives pursuing Executive MBAs from 12 Indian Institutes of Management [IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Trichy, IIM Nagpur, IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Bodh Gaya, and IIM Jammu], 6 Indian Institutes of Technology [IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Ropar, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Jammu], and 3 Specialist Management Institutions [XLRI Jamshedpur, SP Jain Institute of Management & Research Mumbai, and Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA)].

Avijit Banerjee, CEO & Managing Director of Argon Capital Advisors, was speaking at the Townhall Dialogue on “Navigating the Investment Ecosystem” organized by Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance (SSBF), Pune where he discussed with his fellow panelists the economic outlook amidst the geopolitical risks and how it charts out the path for investments across various asset classes, the role of MSMEs for an inclusive growth, evolution of Fintech in addressing credit gap, trends in wallet share across investment products, emergence of Private Equity – Venture Capital as a major asset class, and practical aspects of valuations in driving investment decisions, among others.

It was an interesting and fruitful discussion at the TAAI Webinar among the panelists Avijit Banerjee, Jyoti Mayal, Ashish Kumar and Kartik Sharma that was held on May 1, 2020 at 4 p.m. India Time.
